U.Mixd ("we," "our," or "us") respect the Customer’s (“you”, “your”) privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy (the “Privacy Policy”) explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your information when you use the Services and the U.Mixd Platform. This Privacy Policy is in compliance with the UK Data Protection Act, 2018 (the “DPA”).
This Privacy Policy is effective as of the date you access and/ or create an account on the U.Mixd Platform as a Customer.
This Privacy Policy applies only to the information U.Mixd collects through your use of the U.Mixd Platform.
This Privacy Policy DOES NOT apply to information that you provide to, or that is collected by, any third-party, such as restaurants/venues at which you make Bookings for Events. The Payment Partner may also collect certain personal information such as credit or debit card details or other financial information when you make payments of the Bill Amount on the U.Mixd Platform, however, such information and/or transactions shall solely be governed by the privacy policy of such Payment Partner and U.Mixd Platform encourages you to consult directly with such Payment Partner about their privacy practices.
Please read this Privacy Policy carefully to understand U.Mixd’s policies and practices regarding your information and how U.Mixd will treat it. By accessing or using the U.Mixd Platform and/or registering for an account with U.Mixd, you agree to this Privacy Policy and you are consenting to U.Mixd’s collection, use, disclosure, retention, and protection of your personal information as described here. If you do not provide the information U.Mixd requires, U.Mixd may not be able to provide all or any of its Services or grant you access to the U.Mixd Platform.

U.Mixd collects the following types of information from Customers that use the U.Mixd Platform:
1. Customer personal information: When you create an account on the U.Mixd Platform, we collect your account information such as your name, age, gender, email address, mobile number, nationality, postal code, password and other information you may provide with your account such as university details, location data, your interests, language preferences, your profile picture and any other images or videos uploaded by you as part of your profile information. In the event that you connect or link any other social media accounts to your U.Mixd Customer account, we fetch and store whatever information is made available to us by you through these sign-in services.
2. Customer Content: Any Customer Content and other information that you upload, post, disclose on the U.Mixd Platform including without limitation, your reviews, photographs, videos, comments, likes, lists, followers, the Customers you follow, current and prior Booking details, browsing information and history and any other information you provide to us via the U.Mixd Platform. We may further collect and store any Customer messages on group/community chats/posts, communications between you and other Customers or restaurants/venues through the U.Mixd Platform for the purpose of processing and delivering these messages and investigating possible violations of our Terms, Content Policy and any other violations of applicable laws.
3. Any information about the device or mobile you use to access the U.Mixd Platform, that may be automatically collected by us, including without limitation, information about your internet connection, your usage details, traffic data, location data, logs and other communication data and information collected through cookies, web beacons and other tracking technologies, IP addresses, operating systems, platforms, browser type, other browsing information, unique mobile device identifier and other similar information.
We use the information we collect from you when you access the U.Mixd Platform for a variety of reasons, including without limitation:
1. To process and respond to your queries and to administer the Services and diagnose any technical problems.
2. To provide Customer support.
3. Send you communications that you have requested or that may be of interest to you by way of emails, or courier, or registered post, or telephone calls, or any other mode of communication.
4. Enable us to show you ads that are relevant to you.
5. Generate and review reports and data about, and to conduct research on, our Customer base and Service usage patterns to make your Customer experience better improve the content and features of our Services (such as by personalizing content to your interests), process and complete your transactions, and make special offers.
6. Carry out our obligations and enforce our rights arising from any contracts entered into between you and us, including for billing and collection.
7. Notify you about changes to our Services and terms and policies.
8. For any other purpose with your consent.
We may further share or disclose your personal information to the following persons/entities and for the following purposes:
A. To our employees, officers, directors, affiliates, contractors, advisors, service providers and any third parties to market their products who are bound by contractual obligations to keep the information confidential and use it only for the purposes for which we disclose it to them.
B. To the applicable restaurant/venue when you make a Booking in relation to any Events or if you are attending any Events at such restaurant/venue. Information you choose to share with a restaurant/venue when you make a Booking and/or pay the Bill Amount via the U.Mixd Platform may be used by the restaurant/venue for its own purposes. We do not control the privacy practices of restaurants/venues. Please contact the restaurant directly if you want to learn about its privacy practices.
C. To a buyer or other successor in the event of a merger, divestiture, restructuring, reorganization, dissolution or other sale or transfer of some or all of U.Mixd’s assets, whether as a going concern or as part of bankruptcy, liquidation or similar proceeding, in which personal information held by U.Mixd about the Customers of the U.Mixd Platform are among the assets transferred.
D. For any other purpose disclosed by us when you provide the information.
E. To any governmental authorities, law enforcement agencies, courts, or other organizations on account of legal request for the purpose of any investigations, or to prevent, or take action regarding possible illegal activities, threats or potential threats to the physical safety of any person including any restaurant /venue employees, staff, fraud protection and credit risk reduction, to investigate and address violations of this Privacy Policy or the Terms, or Content Policy or to investigate and address violations of the rights of third parties and/or to protect the rights, property and safety of U.Mixd, its employees, Customers, or the public or in compliance with any other legal processes.
F. We may share personal information in any other circumstances where we have your informed consent.

When you pay or settle the Bill Amount on the U.Mixd Platform, we may collect certain financial information including without limitation, any credit or debit card information or other payment information from you (the “Payment Information”). This information may further be shared with our Payment Partner to assist in processing and fulfilling your payment requests. By submitting your Payment Information and paying through the U.Mixd Platform you expressly consent to the sharing of your information with such Payment Partner. We encourage you to read through the privacy policy of such Payment Partner to understand how your Payment Information is stored and protected by them.

We have implemented appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and help prevent unauthorized access to your Payment Information and to maintain data security of your other personal information as disclosed under Clause I. These safeguards take into account the sensitivity of the information that we collect, process and store and the current state of technology. We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information and Payment Information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it.
3. We assume no liability or responsibility for disclosure of your Payment Information and personal information due to errors in transmission, unauthorized third-party access, or other causes beyond our reasonable control. You play an important role in keeping your personal information and Payment Information secure. You should not share your username, password, or other security information and Payment Information for your U.Mixd account with anyone. If we receive instructions using your username and password, we will consider that you have authorized the instructions.
The Services and the U.Mixd Platform are not intended for use by users or Customers under the age of 18 (the “Permissible Age”). We do not knowingly collect any personal information from users or market to or solicit information from anyone under the Permissible Age. If we become aware that a person submitting personal information is under the Permissible Age, we will delete the account and any related information as soon as possible. A cookie is a small text file that is stored on your computer that enables us to recognize you (for example, as a Customer) when you visit the U.Mixd Platform, and store your preferences and settings, enhance your experience by delivering Content and advertising specific to your interests, perform research and analytics, track your use of our Services and the U.Mixd Platform, and assist with security and administrative functions. Cookies may be persistent or stored only during an individual session.
